Planning Of Cover, Contents And Feature Article
This is my drawn out plan for my cover page of my magazine. It has been drawn in a normal HB pencil, which unfortunately does not express parts of the house style, such as the colours and the real fonts I will be able to use.
The masthead is going to be black and hopefully behind the models body.
The background is either going to be white or the same colour as within the photographs, as I feel that editing the hair well is becoming a difficult task.
I am going to change the prize of the competition from a fashion theme to a music theme, so that the content of the magazine is portrayed more.
The colours on the page are going to be pink black and white, with blue as this is the colour of the top my model is wearing.

This is my drawn out plan for my contents page. I am hoping that the "CONTENTS" will be the same font as the masthead on the cover, so the house style continues throughout the magazine.
The background is going to be white, most of the wording is going to be black and the thinner boxes down the left side are going to be a light orange and the two thicker boxes will be pink.
There will be writing between the boxes to show the main stories that will be included.
I decided to include a section for the next issue, so that the readers will look forward to what is coming next week and who the main article will be about. I have included four photographs so that the contents page is easy to look at and not just full of writing, which can easily bore readers.
This is my plan for my feature article. There is going to be a question and answer interview with Daisy Reilly, so there will be a lot of writing on this page.
The colours within the page will be pink, black and white so that the page is kept simple. This will be a double page spread, and on the left page will be a photo of Daisy Reilly taking up the whole cover.
I have used a drop cap to provide emphasis with my text, and I have also used pull-quote which will be "I just want say I love you all...You inspire me everyday".
There will also be a little emoji of an animal in the corner of the page. Something unique that my house style has is that on every page there will be a little emoji linked to the article.
A Little Message About My Time Management
I have not uploaded anything in a while, and this is due to me planning and creating my magazine cover, contents page and feature article on Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop. I am also in the process of drawing my plan on paper so I can put across how I would like the design to look like, even if I am unable to produce this on the computer through the software. I have finished my plans and have also nearly finished my actual content on my magazine, which I will post when fully complete.

Final Edited Photographs - Logan Haynes
These are the five photos I have chosen to edit from the shoot. I will use one of these within my contents page to advertise Logan's range of clothes
Photography Of Logan Haynes
Here are the photographs of Jack which I am pleased with. Unfortunately, I did not plan this photography session very well and I had to try to find some instruments and a setting, so I quickly found a guitar and drum sticks for Jack to pose with. I found this setting in the school grounds as I was unable to take the photos outside of school. I was happy with Jack's outfit, poses and facial expressions.

Examples Of Elements Of Photography - Logan Haynes
These are a few photos of how I would like the photography to look like. They give me inspiration of how I would like Jack to pose and also for the location and outfits. I am hoping that the photography will be a success and I will be able to get the shots I am aiming for.

Third Artist - Logan Haynes
This is my classmate Jack Pozniak who 16 years of age and I am going to use him as my final artist, and will appear on the contents page of my magazine. I have decided to use Jack because he is an attractive, young male who the target audience of my magazine will admire. I am going to call this artist Logan Haynes. Logan is an 18 year old singer/songwriter who found his love of music when he was thirteen as this is when he was given his first guitar. He has a cool, fashionable sense of clothing and a very stylish look, shopping at all the major places such as Topman, DropDead and Hype, so going for the more indie style. Most people think of Logan as a wannabe Ed Sheeran, however he wants to show people that he can be different and his own person. Most of Logan's songs are of a slow melody and contain lyrics of his own personal experiences that make your heart melt, showing his caring side. He wants to provide his target audience with something that they can relate to.
Logan is in this issue of Beauty&Beat because we want to portray his fashion sense to the readers, and show that it isn't too hard to find something out there that is affordable for you to look stylish.

For the photography, I would like Jack to wear clothes that suit the personality of Logan. I would like for him to wear black skinny jeans with a blank white T-Shirt and a black leather jacket. I would also like him to be wearing either black boots or canvas shoes. I would like his hair to be how it looks in these photos as it doesn't look exactly the same as to hairstyles out there at the moment.
I would like the location to be in woodland or in a field, outside somewhere. I would like there to be sun and not for it to be raining, however if it raining, it could link to the colour of the clothing I would like him to be wearing because it is dark.
I would really like for Logan to be holding a guitar (with a strap) in the shoot because I want to portray how much music means to him, as well as fashion.
